To loud for no reason! New PC working at 45db!

ToniV

So i just made a new pc(my first). This is it: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/mWX63C

I have 4 fans and even when i turn off 2 case fans it still makes 45db. That is just too loud for me! And the the worst thing is when i open my side panel it drops to 41db! I know fans are not that loud, they are all at some 300-600 rpm.

One other thing is that when i push my pc down with my havd sound drops to 39db.

I think the problem is my case (zalman r1) but i still cant buy a new one and i dont know how to fix thit.

I would like al least 35-39db. Ty all☺

Try rubber feet or something. Your pc is resonating with something, also see if everything is mounted properly.

Fuck me your PSU with your parts... It's probably overheating and causing the PSU fan to go into hyper space mode trying to cool it down.  CX PSUs are not made for high end parts..

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

Get new case fans (also the list you show says that you have a SPEC 03, now do you have the zalman or that?)

If taking the side panel off the case reduces the noise, I would assume your case is rattling or something...

aside from that choice of parts being cringeworthy... thats not what we're tackling here...

i heard that corsair fans can be quite loud. maybe look into adding some rubber stripts to the mounts and see if that helps.

It's probably safer to just plug the Titan X directly into a wall socket.

You should find out where the most noise is coming from.
Could be your graphics card. Maybe it has a lot of coil while.
Could be your fans, that are just junk.
But it could also be your harddrive that isn't mounted properly in its drive bay.

Zalman R1 stock fans are relatively quiet.

If you disable all fans but keep only cpu fan, problem remains?

I don't get people who spend $1000 on a GPU then plug a $75 PSU into it. Do you not realise that your PSU could literally kill all of your parts if it fails?

Probably safer for the card to be struck by lightning.

45db isn't very loud actually.  I'd say that is right in line with a moderately quite system.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

this site? from LTT forums?

no, just no,ive been here for a month and i dont see anyone recommending:

1) a locked chip on an unlocked board

2) a kingston v300

3) a friggin titan X

4) a corsair CX psu to go with high end parts like yours

i'd gladly meet the people on this forum that told you to put together a non-k cpu and a z-chipset motherboard, and get a titan x with a corsair CX power supply, and the person that said the ssdnow V300 was a good idea.

Since everyone is dogging his PSU so hard, I just wanted to ask about my PSU so I'm not the most knowledgeable about these things either. I have an Antec Earthwatts 750W on this rig:

i5 4670k @ 4.3 GHz

EVGA GTX 980 Ti Classified

16GB Hyper Fury X Kingston DDR3 1866MHz

Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H

1TB 850 Evo Samsung SSD

Just want to make sure I'm not making the same mistake, reading some of the responses here got me a little worried. Not trying to hijack the thread, lol.
