They are not permitted because they would make the site far less clean, and don't really serve a purpose. Not to mention the excess bandwidth that would be used on mobile.

Hello there,

I've noticed that LTT seems to be the only forum i'm on where I get an "Too many images" error when attempting to use a small image in my signature. Is there a specific reason for this?

If I'm wrong and they are allowed, why is it that my image doesn't work?

My procrastination is the bane of my existence.

I make games and stuff in my spare time.

no images and only three lines in your signature, I'm not sure if you use a spoiler if that is part of the three lines or not though.

You know how it is, the cow goes "moo", the dog goes "woof" and the gamer goes "The PvP is unbalanced."

Spoiler

That was my guess, but I would still like a better understanding as to why.

I'd say it contributes to a cleaner look. I come from an anime signature-infested forum and enjoy that rule here. I would settle for 4 lines max so I can do my "you should" sig proper.
