Go to solution Solved by sivertholmvik,

i got it to install, im installing gapps now

Hey guys.

I got my nexus 5x today and i rooted it, installed a custom recovery and i installed xposed. It worked for a while and the i did a factory reset. I booted into android and it comes up a million times nfc service stopped working. How can i fix this? If someone could give me a restoreable backup for a nexus 5x it would be real easy.

Google has Stock Android Factory Images available for download for all of their Nexus devices. You could flash that and be back to stock factory Android. I'm not sure if this is what you're asking though.

Might have to use adb and fastboot commands to get your device working again.

What you have now is a custom recovery without a rom. You could just flash the same rom in the custom recovery.

Well if you are rooted and custom rom already. Why dont you just flash a stocked rooted rom then?

Ok, this happened. I got my nexus. I rooted it and i installed a custom recovery. I also unlocked the bootloader. Then i installed xposed. I factory reset my phone via android. i restarted my phone and it spitted a million errors for nfc service has stopped. I couldnt do anything. Now i got it to transfer a cm 13 rom over and i dont know if its going to work or not.

Yeah I factory reset should not have done that. Maybe if you cleared the cache in the custom recovery the nfc errors should have gone away.

But CM 13 Rom should be nice and you just need to flash that in the recovery.

In the custom recovery, factory reset, delete cache and flash the new rom.
