Corsair Air Series - AF or SP

dreamhacking

I have a Corsair 450D Case. Planning to have some purple LED fans for the location below ...

Rear x 1 (120mm)

Top x 3 (120mm)

Front x 2 (140mm)

I just want to know if i should go with ALL AF, or a combination of AF and SP. I prefer Quiet fans

Thanks.

AF are case fans. SP for rads and heatsinks.

SP fans are for high static pressure applications. Meaning they're used to force air through radiators or filters. If you're not using them against something that is impedeing their airflow then the AFs are fine.

So I should probably just go with ALL SP for the 6 slots according to the performance curve, right?

those 6 locations i listed are only for case use. no rad / heatsink involved in this topic.

These aren't the results for the LED versions which are significantly worse and aren't applicable.
