i want to upgrade a video card from inno3d gtx 580 ..

mobo z77 sabertooth

3770k cpu

16gig 1866mhz gskill ram

antec 620 psu

what would be the best choice video card to upgrade too?

GTX 670, GTX 680, 7950, 7970.

depends on how much you want to spend.

You can get two 670s or 680s and run them in SLI. Or you can do the same with 7950s or 7970s.

Get another 580 and SLI them...

A 620W PSU is not enough - look for a 850W PSU.

Firstly you don't need an 850w PSU for SLI. You could run two systems off that. You'll be fine with something around the 700w mark. I'd recommend actually with that budget SLIing two 660Ti's or even 670's.

No, the monitors must be connected to each card.
