?How to share USB printer through wireless router

The router in question is: Sapido Gigabit GR297N Super High Power Cloud. It has 2 USB 2.0 ports. http://www.sapido.com.tw/EN-new/product-gr297n-P01.htm

I've been told that router doesn't have print server. Is that an obligatory requirement? Can't I use it if the printer is connected to the router vis USB? Attached USB HDD works; it even has some cloud functions. Is the printer sharing different?

I believe every router with USB ports can be used as a wireless printer, although ive only tested this with an ethernet cable, never over wifi

Did you attach the printer to the router with ethernet cable? meaning the printer has ethernet capabilities?

No, i connected my old USB printer to the USB port of my router, and then used a ethernet cable to send the orders to the router

I never tried with wifi prints though

BTW my router didnt say anything about using it with a printer on the box, so i believe every USB router should be able to do it

Support documentation doesn't say anything about printer sharing via USB and only file sharing. No support for it.

That is correct: there is nothing there saying 'print server'. So it can't be done? That's what i don't get: why is file sharing so different to printer sharing. I mean.. it can manage tens of MB of data both ways (PC <-> USB HDD) but it can't open a communication channel with the printer?
