I mean I guess I am. I do watch most linus videos on vessel, and tek syndicate is coming soon, though not with 7 day exclusivity thank god. 

muh specs 

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I made so many accounts then somehow I stacked them. I don't know how at all. If it was using the same email or what but mine says free year then after that free year and so on about 5 more times so I guess 5 free years!

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Recently I said "no" to this question due to there being ads on a premium service and it just not being enough of a value. Removing ads helps, however I still don't see the value. If they fixed their crappy website(slowwwww) and gave more options like offline play, music, live streaming, etc. then I would consider it, but for now, nope.

I might however unlike youtube i can barely watch videos on it as i have to let the whole video buffer first then watch it. (YAY AUS INTERNET!!!) with less than 3mb down and vessels poor scaling on low speed connections. But can i go a week watching old videos ... yes No! Well looks like im paying then! :P

The point of vessel is not just for early access or no ads, its to support LMG

Personally I have no issues with video playback at all, it even loads faster than youtube for me, and i only have 50 down

they need to offer a bit more for me to start paying for it. also @Enderman if i want to support ltt i would rather donate through the forums (which i may start doing) not pay over vessel where they take a cut.

Personally I don't think that is true for a couple reasons. Vessel doesn't use a "tip jar" business model like twitch does. On twitch if I sub or donate to someone, the streamer gets most of the funds(twitch takes out some), and I can donate as much as I want. On Vessel, if I pay $3 monthly, some of that goes to LTT, some to Rhett and Link, some to Philly D, and so on. Vessel also puts a huge emphasis on getting "exclusive early access to your favorite videos" rather than your favorite video creators or even mentioning supporting them.

Probably not :/ Havent even been watching most of the content lately anyway, been caught up with other things. Today was the first day in a week or two that I watched any content. Those videos being the alarm prank and a fast as possible video about headphones.

I've been paying $2.99/month but I think I only watched 2 LTT videos with it so far. I'll get the $19.99/year subscription though but I don't think I'll use it any more than I do now.

Linus has talked about vessel before on many livestreams and videos

He's actually mentioned that a very large chunk of their income comes from vessel and it really does help to use that service

 

But yeah if you have crappy internet then dont even bother, help LMG in other ways

I think this is why it prompts you to subscribe to more than 1 channel when you sign up. I still can't figure out how to get unbox therapy off of my feed. 

 

I mean I agree it's to support LMG, but keep in mind that while vessel is a large chunk of income, it's likely because google ad revenue is so low these days, and I bet it still pales in comparison to sponsor spots, keeping in mind it's important for LMG to diversify their revenue sources and not be solely on one terribly managed video platform...youtube not vessel. (Which is why people shouldn't have been at LTT for vessel and shouldn't get mad at Tek Syndicate...who are not doing exclusivity yet still are getting shit)

The easiest way to contribute to LMG is to donate directly, which is what I do. I mean they get 100% of it. I don't really think way too much of my 20$ a year for vessel will make it to LTT, but more people are likely to watch on vessel than donate directly.

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

tek syndicate doesnt seem to be doing so hot

 

imo splitting up their content into so many channels has really reduced their audience and views, at least from i can tell
