LEDS for computer

KeyboardWarrior

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I'm new to this forum and forums in general.

I'm looking to outfit my computer with some cool LEDS, but I don't really know much about how to install or even where to begin to find good ones. I'd like to not spend a fortune on them either. I can post my specs if needed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Forums!

For premade kits Addon Custom and Cable Mods both make great LED strips either in single color or RGB based ones. If you don't mind DIY a solution another option is purchasing a kit/roll from Amazon and wiring it up yourself.

I currently use these: Deepcool RGB Leds http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811980001http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811980001

I really like them. They have a remote, the adhesive is pretty good, and they were pretty easy to set up. Just make sure that you have some way to connect it to your PSU, since it uses molex. Many people will say that you have to get RGBW leds with extra white leds on them since the 'artificial' white that comes from all three colors on simple RGB led strip doesn't look good. I personally think that the white on the RGB strips looks good, and am glad I did not spend the extra money on an RGBW strip.

rgb + magnetic + widebeam + decent pricepoint (yoloswag products usually overcharge the crap out of you) = cablemod
