Posted March 4, 2016 2500k at 4.0GHz liquid cooled(I'll overclock it again to 4.6 when a game really needs it) 670 FTW liquid cooled 2x4GB 1600 MHz RAM Score: 1 I intentionally got a June Rift preorder since I knew I wasn't ready. The plan is to do a new build once either Polaris or Pascal comes out (whatever comes out first unless it is underwhelming). My hope is to play around with some demos and maybe play Lucky's Tale and wait for a new GPU before playing something like Eve Valkyrie.
 Posted March 5, 2016 So I got very interested after I got my first result with both my CPU, GPU & RAM at stock speeds. I was wondering how much CPU, GPU & RAM speeds would affect the test results. So I did a fairly quick but stable overclock on both my CPU & GPU to see if this would affect anything. So only the GPU speed actually does make a noticeable difference! During the bench, your CPU hovers around the 15-25% load, so it's really all about the GPU power, as seen in my results as well. CPU clock speed does not affect the score. #i7-2600K masterrace I ran the tests without any program running! @Slick @LinusTech Phantom: Antique Noctua CPU: i7-2600K @ 3,4 GHz GPU: GTX780 @ stock RAM: 2x4GB @ 1333MHz Score: 4,5 Spoiler CPU: i7-2600K @ 4,7GHz GPU: GTX780 @ stock RAM: 2x4GB @ 1600MHz Score: 4,5 Spoiler CPU: i7-2600K @ 3,4GHz GPU: GTX780 @ +130core/250mem MHz RAM: 2x4GB @ 1333MHz Score: 5,7 Spoiler CPU: i7-2600K @ 4,7GHz GPU: GTX780 @ +130core/250mem MHz RAM: 2x4GB @ 1600MHz Score: 5,
 Posted March 5, 2016 It would seem that 2GB of VRAM isn't enough for VR as the GTX 690 is more powerful than the GTX 970 but has half the VRAM... well 1.5GB less haha. Just sold my original GTX Titans in preparation for pascal so I couldn't test them but I'd assume that they would perform fine with 6GB of VRAM and about equivalent performance to the GTX 970 so in SLI they would have definitely been fine. Posted March 5, 2016 Rig name - Unnamed (for the moment)Cpu - 2x Xeon X5675Gpu - XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black EditionRam - 32gb DDR3 Fully Buffered ECC The CPU's are plenty fine to do this obviously but that 5970 is not going to cut it. An upgrade will be in order at some point.
