hey after looking at a lot of vr test i think that actually what makes a difference is the RAM speeds because people with lower CPU but higher ram speeds achieve better results than me, my GPU is overclocked... i was getting 120-130fps

GPU GTX 970

CPU 2 X X5660 @2.8(they actually where at 3.2 during the test) 24 threads

RAM 16gb Samsung PC3-8500F 533mhz

the test do not seem to be using SLI though. 1 GPU pinned one at 0 % have tried forcing the settings.

So my guess would be that it should be capable. seeing as a GTX 760 gives the capable state.
