Posted March 6, 2016 This has been such a clever marketing move by Valve for virtual reality. They could have just released the recommended specs like Oculus... but they know that PC gamers love to benchmark, so they released this little tool and on hardware forums everywhere people start posting their scores and it creates a buzz. Posted March 6, 2016 I re-ran the test and got a new score... Then I decided to try it with my secondary GPU, a 780, and got pretty much what I expected... Though it is pretty funny to see that the performance test can't tell what GPU it's using~ "Do as I say, not as I do." -Because you actually care if it makes sense.
