I know it says vr ready but lets faceit most newer games i cant max every option on 1080p and have min 60fps( and u need min90fps with even higher resolution for vr) so lets talk truth here no1 is ready for it and we wont be till we get actual good gps not 10% better then last year bs. So my perdiction not before year 2020. with 980ti/titan x equivalent, so stop with all 1440p&4K bs(for gaming) i wont even talk about that if we cant maxout options on 1080p and have min60fps( not average minimum witch u need for vr) with single gpu this is not possible (unless u lower graphics and if its literary in your face ugly graphics will ruin the experience) and we all know most of devs dont give a f**k to optimaze games for multi gpu-s

Maxing out graphics settings is not important. We are not in 2005 anymore where lowering graphics settings make things look bad. The main thing in virtual reality when things get close to your face is to have decent textures and adequate anti-aliasing.

Also there are only a few games which come out every year with Star Citizen level graphics.

There is so much more to virtual reality than those games. People who have used the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift have reported good experiences on current hardware with games specifically designed for virtual reality. And these games are designed targeting 90fps.

OK, so how did you get the test to recognise both GPUs?

I added the -multigpu command at Steam. (At Steam, go to your library, right click at the "SteamVR Performance Test", left click at "Properties",  left click at "Set Launch Options...", and type -multigpu) :D

PS: As you can see I only need to upgrade graphics card in order to have "Ready" score. Returning to the old $350 Rift expectations. Lots of people say that extra $249 is nothing if you will take cost of PC into consideration. But im my case I only need headset itself and decent graphics subsystem. Let's say I have $1000 budget for both pieces. $650 is much better than $401 for a graphics card. And yes, I know that Oculus Rift is expensive piece of technology, but I don't think they should mislead people in the first place.
