EDIT: I just re-ran the test without 4 thousand different applications running in the background and I score in read, barely though.

Have you overclocked your card? Mine was overclocked :c

Intel X5470 3.33ghz 4core, no HT
Gigabyte G1 R9 390 8GB

 

CPU not OC'd due to crappy PSU/MOBO.
