Posted March 4, 2016 I don't trust this test. My card overclocked as it is should at least stand shoulder to shoulder with a 970 if not above it. The cards at stock are close enough as is. I scored a 5.5 while a 970 stock users scores between 6.5/7.5 (very weird variation between 970s too). However here's for science! Posted March 4, 2016 Name: 666 CPU: i7 4930k GPU: EVGA 780ti (No OC) RAM: 32GB (@2400mhz) Score: 5.5 From other posts it looks like I can get into "Ready" territory with a pretty modest overclock of the GPU, I should upgrade soon anyhow but nice to know I don't strictly NEED to at the moment. Of course this assumes I'll be buying a VR in the near future, which isn't likely given the price of such fresh tech, not to mention the probable bugs of first-gen VR. I'm excited for the future of VR, but as with other tech, I like to let early-adopters with money to burn work out all the kinks (and lower the price) before I buy in. Posted March 4, 2016 No name - Star Lord Themed (color wise) i7 4790k (not overclocked) gtx 980 Asus Strix edition 16gb ddr3 Corsair Dominator Platinum Score: 8.1 Interesting to see the results of this. Lots more "ready" than Valve shows. Probably because there are plenty of people on Steam for access to games with low demand like TF2 and various survival/indie games without a computer that can handle it. I was surprised a little by the results. I have a friend who got a 780ti instead of going for a graphics card of this generation, and it was interesting to see how even though it's a great card, the newer generation can outperform it in some cases.
