I bought a used PSU and its worked fine for me. You just gotta buy a trusted brand: "corsair" and from a trusted source, I think itd be fine. I say go for it.

EVGA B2 is better than the CS and like the same amount of money.

but wouldnt a gold rated psu be better than a bronze rated, luke did a video on it which answered a few questions but also opened a few more.

this is direct from corsair and comes with a warranty, seemed like a good price , my other choice was the rm750 full modular for about $6 more

I trust corsair personally. They are one of the better companies. I think its worth it. They wouldn't be selling it at all even as refurbished if they hadnt done extensive tests to ensure its not sketchy in any way.

Nope.

Efficiency and quality are not interchangeable. A Corsair CS is of much lower quality and performs worse than an EVGA B2. Efficiency just saves you pennies on your power bill with what the average user does with their PC.

i currently own a EVGA 80+ bronze and have never had any problems for the past 4 years i had it through 3 different PC. i just thought the corsair was a good price, i might still get it, thanks everyone for all the input

anyway here is the link i was looking at

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/store/certified-refurbished

it 25% off the display price, maybe if someone buys it before me it will save me the impulse buy, haha, thanks again
