If you clicked on the title, then u may know what inventor is, I need to know how one can open an assembly in another assembly without losing all of its degrees of freedom. Just wanted to know, thanks!!!

I guess I would have to say that I have never needed to add an assembly to another assembly. Hmm.......

I do,  that doesn't mean I know how to use it. The tutorial was too hard for me.

Ever heard of subassemblies? U probably dont use inventor to much, i am dealing with like a 600 part assembly rn and i need some sort of definitive grouping besides constraining
