Would You Recommend the Black MacBook

So I was thinking of buying a black MacBook off Ebay. I am kind of stump. Do any of you think it's becoming obsolete? How much would you pay for it? Would you consider any other MacBook? Also, does anyone know what the most latest OS it can run? I'd be fine as long as it can run 10.6 or above. I plan to get a Core 2 Duo and upgrade it to 4 GBs of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive (If anyone knows, can you list these max capacities). Note on the suggestions, don't suggest a PC. I want to get a Mac just because I have a preferation of the OS X UI.

If you mean would I recommend a macbook for anything other than a door mat, then no.

The absolute most id pay would be 150. dont buy it

Get a newer one, I have a white one (same gen as the black) and its just not up to par anymore, I like my newer one much better :D

Try to get a 2012 model or something around then.

You know that you just can put OS X on a windows pc....

PS. PC means personal computer and a mac is a personal computer so guess what you don't want a mac then....

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...
