Laptop Webcam Area Gets Hot

I have a Toshiba Satellite L645 laptop and the webcam area gets hot. I have taken it apart carefully before to put new thermal paste and put it back together. What would cause the webcam area to get hot?

CPU: AMD Ryzan 7 7800X3D  Mobo: ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi   RAM: 32 GB(2x16GB) G.Skill Flare X6 EXPO@ 6000MHz  GPU: ASRock Phantom Gaming OC Edition AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
Case: Lian Li O11 Air Mini  PSU: Corsair RM1000e  SSD: Team Group MP34 4TB PCIe 4 NVME, Mushkin REACTOR 960GB, Patriot Torch LE 960GB  Cooling: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE (PS120SE) with Thermal Grizzly Kryonau & 9x Thermalright TL-C12 PRO 120mm

pretty sure the webcam is integrated into his laptop

I know, and my old laptop's webcam had a derpy connector that could be plugged in wrong. And it caused my webcam to get stupidly hot.

Look in the hardware manager to see if the webcam is actually recognized

It is in Win 10. Also I disable it in the bios to see and still hot. Would the wireless cause this?

It is. Odd. Open up the screen assembly and try to figure out where the heat is coming from. I dont know where else it could come from, but it is worth a look I guess
