Installed the BeQuiet Pure Wings 2 fans and slotted the motherboard tray back into its place.
These fans are amazing even for Aquacomputer radiators, super silent and high airflow.

56d2a7f0d7cdd_interiordrilled2.thumb.jpg

Installed the D5 pump using the Bitspower D5 Mod kit.

Measured, marked the holes using a pencil and drilled those holes to mount the D5 combo.

The kit is consists of the following:
- Bitspower D5 Pump Top(Acrylic)
- Bitspower D5 Pump Cover
- Bitspower Mounting Kit

56d2a7e5e481c_interiordrilled3.thumb.jpg

This kit is really useful and secure when mounted - there's also a rubber pad on each of the mounting kit to absorb any vibrations from the D5 pump

during running conditions. The D5 pump wires will be sleeved later on.

Another shot of it from this angle. Looks pretty good.. Loving the acrylic D5 top.

reservoir.thumb.jpg.36ce1757da41cd051337

For the reservoirs, we'll be using the Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 250MM Cylindrical Tank Reservoir.

Here's a shot of them after being washed.

56d2a7c1465dd_reservoir2.thumb.jpg.b9a26

Only mounted one of the reservoirs as I only had one extra male-male adapter. Waiting for Barrow fittings to arrive later this week.

56d2a7b585f95_950Pro.thumb.jpg.55b4a4da1

The primary and one of the SSD's in this build, the Samsung 950 Pro 512GB NVME M.2 SSD.

With a sequential read of up to 2,500 MB/sec, its hard not to resist not choosing it as the main drive in this build.
This unit was specially ordered since no one here in Malaysia keeps stock for this.

After hearing that the read/write speeds thermal throttles after a few minutes of transfer, we planned to cool this bad boy by custom mounting a 40MM fan right beside it later on.

Thanks again  for viewing guys, hope to update you soon when more stuff arrives.

Aquacomputer R9 Fury X blocks, nickel acrylic. Looks good and sexy as always but we're going to make it match our build better.

56dae18ae423b_radiator1.thumb.jpg.f7588c

Love the Aquacomputer Airplex radiators, the side brackets can be easily removed by removing a few screws. This thing is really modular.
Make sure not to lose your 'O' rings though.

56dae194b289e_radiator2.thumb.jpg.2b9488

Spraying them matte black to fit the color of the STH 10.

Aquacomputer Kryographics blocks in matte black! Looks really good and would definitely fit the theme of the build.

56dae180dad71_fansleeving.thumb.jpg.9fcd

BeQuiet fan wires sleeved with Revoluzion Technologia PET Sleevings and Double Wall Heatshrinks. Looks really good.
I would definitely recommend them anytime.
All 17 fans in this build will be sleeved :) - ggwp

Since Aquacomputer doesn't have a backplate for the R9 Fury X yet(or maybe never), we decided to go with custom laser cutting an acrylic backplate.
Will post pictures of it in the next update.

Thanks for viewing again guys, will update as soon as the last batch of items arrive.

Next update should show how the build will come together as parts are all fitted into its place in the casing.

nice looking parts so far!  are you connecting the GPU's with a kryoconnect or just fittings?  I really love the kryographics line (i've got one and am ordering another today) but I can't decide which way to go.

We wanted to go with the Kryoconnect at first but somehow the R9 Fury blocks aren't listed as supported. We'll be going with fittings and tubings instead.

It seems like the various AC retailers dont like to update their compatibility lists.  Aquatuning.us doesn't list my 980's block as compatible either, but the manufacturer's did 9_9

To be honest I think I may go with fittings anyhow

  • 1 month later...

Hey guys! Sorry for the really late update. Everything has been done and delivered to the customer on the 2/4/2016.
I've been trying to find time to update the build log because we were really busy and quite shorthanded here in Emarque.

The amount of attention the build has been getting is just too much haha. It was featured on Ocaholic (EU Overclocking News Site) Rig Of The Day and was made a sponsored post by Caselabs themselves.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all partners and friends for their support to the Emarque team.

In this final post, I'll be revealing some of the stuff done to ensure optimal airflow and the best cooling performance in this build. The Magnum STH10 is a case you must be prepared to get your hands dirty with.

7-1024x685.jpg

With both bottom Airplex Radical 480MM radiators in push config, we had to find a way to exhaust the heat from both Fury X's. We decided to drill holes to mount both 120MM fans to exhaust the heat.
The BeQuiet PureWings 2 are really good airflow fans so this move was proven effective when tons of heat was felt from the back of the those fans during running conditions.

10-1024x685.jpg

Also, another move made here with the GPUs is putting them on serial config since the two Airplex Radical 480MM Radiators at the bottom are dedicated to the GPU loop.

The loop order done for the GPU loop was:

PUMP > GPU BLOCK > RADIATOR > GPU BLOCK > RADIATOR > RESERVOIR

The initial thought of having this loop order is the messiness of trying to design the first GPU's loop but we went to the drawing board, thought of a few different ways and by far of all of our options, this was the cleanest possible :D

10-Copy-1024x720.jpg

Each GPU was no more than 44 degree celcius on load.

As stated earlier, every single cable in this build is sleeved, fans I/Os, pump, SATA etc. using Revoluzion Technologia PET sleeves and Double Wall Heatshrinks.

3-1024x685.jpg

Another thing done here is the modded front panel. It totally gave a different look to our STH10 and it doesn't compromise airflow intake since there's enough spacing in between for the BeQuiet fan's air intake

10-Copy-2.jpg

We also made a drain valve system that can be accessed from the front. One for the GPU loop and one more for the CPU loop. The client could easily open one of the two bottom plates to drain the loop anytime he needs to.

Here's a flash picture of it:

drain-valve-1-1024x685.jpg

For this to blend in, we painted the Barrow Drain Valve matte black to match the casing, used Barrow Matte Black Fittings and also used Emarque Cooling's Black Tubing. Rubber grommets of about the OD size of the tubing to allow it to pass through the bottom cleanly. We also have these for 14MM OD which will be on sale soon, would save you much more than using two fittings and a fill port in between.

int-5-1024x685.jpg

The Aquacomputer Kryos XT came in silver which wouldn't match this build well so we decided to coat it in matte black. It really blends in well with the Corsair Dominator Platinum RAMs beside it.

int-2-1024x685.jpg

To ensure good airflow for the Samsung 950 Pro as well - which does get heated and throttle after tons of porn data transferring, we made a custom 40MM fan bracket. The fan is a Revoltec Air Guard 5000RPM 40MM Fan. Proven effective as the temperature dropped and it doesn't throttle after this move was made.

int-4-1024x685.jpg

Coolant used was Mayhem Aurora 2 with a little drops of Mayhem Deep Red Dye.

5-1024x685.jpg

At the left side panel of this build is a little tribute to the two favorite brands of our client.
He loves Samsung storage - the list of storage in this build:
- Samsung 950 Pro 512 GB M.2 SSD
- Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB SSD
- Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB SSD
- Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SSD

He also rocks a Samsung S7 Edge in real life sooo... yeah...

I guess thats all that I could think of sharing in this final post. Thanks for following up and reading on this build log.
We are really open to criticism and feedback. Do reply on this thread if you have anything to say :D

THANKS EVERYONE!
