Sata 3 backplane ?

I'm looking for a backplane with drive cage that will allow me to mount multiple hard drives to one sata connection.

 

I've seen similar setups on pre built servers but not the backplane and cage itself.

 

Any ideas ?

You need a SAS backplane with either a SAS RAID card or SAS HBA card for that. Sata does not support multiple devices on one port like SAS does. Do note that SAS backplanes do not come cheap either, especially ones with the LSI SAS expander chip onboard.
