Why is sony vegas leaving sound where I deleted it

I can never censor words properly because I can still hear sound even at times like this

are you saying there is still sound in between those audio  clips?

is there sound embedded in the video clip or something?

Yes I am saying there is audio in between and no there is not hiden sound

if you completely delete all audio tracks does the audio go away then?
