My Lenovo y50 did this and I don't know what to do

So it's giving me the "your computer did not restart correctly" blue screen that appears to be common. I was wondering if I could take a backup (from about a week ago) to restor my stuff and get out of this dafted screen. Pics are below and I've tired all the troubleshooting and obvious options.

Whoa! Why didn't you just continue to Windows?

First just try to get into Windows, then do a proper shutdown and see if the startup repair screen persists.

This screen can show up if a previous startup was interrupted (lost power or reset during a previous startup).

It will likely go away if you boot into Windows and restart or shutdown and power back on.

Ok, that eliminates an option.

Now, have you changed any BIOS settings recently?  Have you added any hardware recently?  Have you installed Windows recently?

Anything we can find out about what happened right before the problem came up will greatly increase our chances of diagnosing the exact problem.

I haven't messed with the BIOS at all recently. No new Windows and I've installed some stuff one my computer but nothing that should break it. Just a few games, nothing unusual.

I did the start up repair but no luck. I've not messed with anything inside my computer.

If manually selecting startup repair from advanced options and running it does not work, try selecting System Restore and restoring to a recent restore point.

Could I use a external hard drive to restore from that point?

I don't think that is an option.  It will just revert all changes made on your current hard drive/SSD to the restore point.
