Questions to ask non-techies.

I just hate it when people claim they have more tech knowledge than you when they dont (e.g iPhone fanboy).

I asked one of these people what the difference between a cup and a CPU was and he didnt know.

 

So do yiu have any good questions to ask non-techies if they question your level of technical knowledge by trying to act smart and better than you?

How much RAM do you download?

I have none. If someone is trying to act as if they're smarter/better than I am, I'll just smile and continue on. If they're willing, I'll have a real conversation about stuff and try to get my points across, but otherwise why would I waste my time on someone like that? (excluding if I had to, i.e. work)

Either their interested and somewhat wrong (but still open) or just kinda being aholes.

Usually I don't spend much time trying to keep the conversation open, if that's the case.

Theres a Kid in my class who believes that his motherboard graphics use all of his ram and can be used with any GPU , the dumbest thing he has ever said to me was " Man they need more Graphic options in World of warcraft like my 4 GPU's are begging to be used and 19GB of vram is like super fast"
