Bluray/Dolby Atmos compatability

Is the samsung 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player compatible with the dolby atmos?

I doubt it supports 2160p natively so I wouldn't have any hopes on it supporting Dolby Atmos...

It will support Atmos and DTS:X.  Just bought a Sony VPL-VW350ES and the UBD-K8500 is on my short list of 4K players.

most blu ray players support atmos I used a ps3 .  I will say I think atmos is a waste of time unless you are going very big.  In that case any high end bluray player will have it.  If you have it set up for it check and make sure receiver is switched to atmos most dont switch on own.  I switched from 7.1 to 5.2.1 watched a few movies they said were the best for it a week later i switched back to 7.1  No I didn't do roof speakers but i put speakers high up on front wall angled towards seats, not worth it in my option
