A new laptop for my dad help

hi guys, its me again looking for help in the forum.

my dad is looking to buy a new laptop for work, he uses it to do office stuff, web browsing, and skype; he wants a laptop that will last him alot maybe 3 years or so; so he asked me for help and i dont know what to offer him, so i came here to ask you guys for help, he just wants to spend like 300 US$, but maybe he can strech it to 400 usd.

In which case, he can probably get any laptop with no discrete graphics. Current laptops are likely to be able to be used for a long time, if it is only being used to do lightweight tasks like the ones you describe.
