Dell support is trying to tell me this is a hybrid drive, does this description look like a hybrid?

The description for the hard drive is there. Before the tech support rep hung up on me she tried to tell me that it's actually a hybrid drive.  But when I open it up I see a 1tb drive and another, what I think is a m.2 32gb ssd.

take it apart and find out. Dell support is crap. Hence why there are so many "setting a dell on fire" and "blowing up a dell pc" videos on youtube.

"1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive + 32GB Solid State Drive" i'm pretty sure they'd write hybrid drive in the specs if it was one

Those are the old Dells. The newer ones are better.

They are god awful.  This lady has stuck me on hold for the past 20 minutes while "trying to find a supervisor" the same way who was rude as fuck and is trying to convince me that it's a hybrid drive.

The worst part about companies like Dell, HP, and Toshiba is they generally just hire randoms off the street then give them a book to look at it when someone calls. Most of them have no knowledge about PC's at all. You'd get the same results giving newborn baby a manual and asking them what's going on.

Show us a picture of the system since you've taken it apart already. We'll definitively tell you.

If a hard drive and a small SSD are configured together using Intel Rapid Storage Technology, it works exactly like a hybrid drive. There are other softwares that do the same, my Lenovo laptop came with one called "ExpressCache". I really can't fault them for calling it a hybrid drive if configured that way out of the box.
