Is my pc compatible

Hi,

I want to build my own pc, but let's face it, I have never done it before so I am basicly a noob ;-) I did my best to find the best products for my pc, but I don't know if they are all compatible with each other. I figured at least one of you out there could check for me, and possibly recommend some different for my pc with the budget I have. Here is the list of products I would like to use:

gigabyte gtx 960 gaming 4g

Crucial 8gb Ballistix DDR3

Gigabyte GA-78LMT

AMD FD6300wmhkbox 6 cores 3.5-4.1 ghz

Reddragon karura

AOC i2367Fh 23-Inch

Redragon centrophorus mouse

A second hand case and power supply of 500W (is this enough?, Does the case matter at all?)

Please help me out,

Nathan

500W is enough, but if it's second hand and not at least 80+ Bronze, then I would have second thoughts.

Give us your budget and we'll help ya.

if you're gonna use a small factor case get an i3 4170 or 4150 because they produce much less heat

Can't I just get a bigger case, or will the motherboard not fit?

The motherboard will fit. It's a microATX board, so any normal case should fit it fine.

bigger case usually = more cash. just get an i3 and a LGA1150 mobo

428 euro build

70 for peripherals

can drop the qraphics to a 750 ti and get more budget for peripherals if you like

not best for money, but what it does is leave room for upgrades

Any peripherals will do. Those don't affect the performance of the machine. Buy them used if it comes down to that. That's what I did for a long time before I had money...

So do I. Still won't affect anything unless you're going with 1440p or 4K gaming. Any old monitor will do. The computer just outputs a signal to the monitor, the characteristics of the monitor don't really matter that much until you start cranking the details at high resolutions.

The rest of my system is compatible with high settings, so why not get a high settings monitor?

Why do you recommend the I3 instead of the fd6300?

bcoz it's better and outputs much less heat than the fx 6300 (not fd, don't read the packages)
