Is 1359MHz good for a overclocked GTX 760 4GB FTW?

TrinityHigh

I overclocked my EVGA GTX 760 4GB FTW Edition card with a 75MHz boost so it runs at 1359MHz overclocked and stable with the ACX cooler. Is this a good overclock for a air cooled 760 or nah?

You can usually push cards further, especially nvidia cards, I would keep pushing it until you get stability issues running something like unigine valley, I got 150 mhz on an AMD r9 290, you should be easily able to go at least that far, just push it with afterburner, and as long as your using a stock bios, you shouldn't actually damage anything.

That is about what my EVGA GTX 760 (2gig) could do.

It could pass every bench I threw at it at 1400mhz but a very small number of games didn't seem to like that and would occasionally crash / cause the drivers to crash and I eventually found that 1360-ish seemed to run everything I had with out issue.

I've seen review sites get their 760 up to about 1450mhz so I figured either my card was mediocre as far as overclocking goes or they had gotten lucky or pre bind cards that overclocked quite well (possibly a bit of both).

1350mhz+ for a GTX760 is a pretty good overclock.
