LED Strips Adhesive Question

Ideally I would replace it most don't use amazing adhesive in the first place, something like this mounting tape from 3M is amazing stuff:

It probably won't work -- it's usually pretty shitty to begin with.

I have double sided 3M mounting squares that I cut to size to reattach my LED's
