I don't care what you do but Whatever you do, don't make a website with revenge porn on it. Cos otherwise them coppers come to your doorstep and arrest you, then those nasty lawyers come and throw your ass in jail for up to 7 years.

 

One such person who did this was Hunter Moore. Here is his story:

At the completion of the sentence, Moore will be subject to three years supervised release, in which he will be required to log every "computer, computer-related device, screen name, password, e-mail account or ISP" with his probation officer,

. He must also pay a $2,000 fine.

 

Is Anyone Up subsisted on hosting nude photos posted without the subjects' consent. The photos were often accompanied by identifying information like full names and contact info. While the site promoted itself as a place for user-submitted content (bitter exes were the main target), Moore was found to be paying for photos obtained from hacked email accounts. Last year, Moore was arrested by the FBI for accessing "a protected computer without authorization to obtain information for private financial gain."

Earlier this year, Moore plead guilty to felony hacking charges as part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors. The resulting two-and-a-half-year sentence is much shorter than the possible seven years he was facing. The mandatory minimum sentence was two years.

 

 

Don't do revenge porn, don't do drugs and don't do anything illegal.

 

He could have received up to 7 years but he co-operated so they gave him 2 instead. and after that, every time he logs into his email, Screen name, password, computer or whatever he needs his probation officer.

What worries me about this is the potential for it to be exploited. Obviously revenge porn is bad, but consensual porn while the relationship is all fine and dandy, then one of the partners dubbing it "revenge porn" after a nasty breakup seems very possible to me.

Guys, he wasn't arrested for the porn site but for trying to get into a computer that wasn't his. Very misleading title.

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

I think you could counter that with the time it was uploaded. Also, if you're making porn with someone, you should probably have a signed agreement like a contract or a waver. Anyways, I personally think making porn with your significant other for the whole world to see is fucked up anyways. But if that's your cup of tea, I guess be smart about it.
