Where should I put a res?

I was wondering where in my Air 540 case that I should put a small res for easy refilling and hopefully showing off a lovely yellow coolant.

i cant think of any real placement but behing the motherboard tray ish, not too good with these things but i couldent see any way to mount a reservoir in the main compartment, atleast not when looking at pictures :/

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

In an Air 540 having it in the rear section keeps things very clean but if you want to see the res having it either at the front if you don't have a rad there or horizontal along the bottom is an option.

Could I not stand a tiny res under my GPU?

If you get a short res like this that's always a option:

That's fairly standard for a D5 pump res unit, it is considered one of the best pumps for watercooling, something very comparable to it is the DDC but tends to be noisier:

In general to give you an idea a quality custom CPU and GPU loop will cost around $500USD.

I have a H320 so i'm only looking for a res to make refilling / clearing air bubbles easier for when I refill with yellow coolant.

Oh ok in that case you will only require a res unit: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs/reservoirs

For filling and bleeding though to prevent the pump from running dry it should still be filled from the original ports on the unit.

Well you could integrate it at the bottom as you said as more of a visual item to show off the fluid. In that case it would be plumbed up similar to a component in a loop with an inlet and outlet basically. The reason why filling and bleeding of the loop should be done up top is to ensure the pump/res in that unit there doesn't run dry cause it can wear/damage the bearing of the pump.
