i mean i got one but its 120 and doesn't fit a lot of stuff !

an ssd is a very big improvement over normal hard drives its much faster and i guess it wont burn just as easily

My 500gb hard drive is giving write errors so I have to replace it, this would be a quantum leap in performance if I won

My i5 6500 is bad and can't even maintain 4.5ghz, and 4.4ghz causes it to slowly become unstable over weeks with a vcore of 1.395. FML

Ssd are the best. Added one 120gb to my 2009 laptop resulting a huge upgrade in daily performance.

I'm currently running just a 1 tb 7200 rpm hdd and am looking at getting an SSD to get a little bit better performance out of my rig.

I do a lot of video editing and can't afford a proper desktop at this stage. My laptop is pretty beefy but the the loading times of premiere pro and after effects is way too long. Also I would like to load footage onto the ssd to work from for smoother playback. I would love to replace the optical drive in my laptop with an ssd so I can continue to save to get better parts for a desktop and eventually move that ssd into said desktop.

I have been the market for a SSD to replace my current boot drive (a HDD), and this would be an amazing improvement.

My 120GB SSD contains Windows, and only Windows. Having shorter load times, as well as better performance when working with large files in Photoshop, Premiere and 3dsMax would speed up my workflow massively. Sadly, prices in New Zealand are still way too high for me to be able to upgrade.

I just made my new computer over all it was a highly expensive computer that i saved up for for years. But I couldn't manage to fit an SSD into my build. To get a high in SSD like one of these would just be amazing.

I'd love to add an SSD to my new computer (built it a month ago) in time for Black Desert Online's release on March 3rd :)

Additionally, I currently use a 1TB HDD, but if I win the SSD, I'd use it for my programs while leaving my 1TB for documents and pictures.

I would love a new SSD in my system because they are a vital part to any PC that needs to get stuff done. Any student who spends countless hours browsing the internet and typing should make the purchase of an SSD to save time and frustration!

ssds are great - so much better performance and reliability than harddrives - no moving parts and what not.

also, my 10 yr old 200gb 5400rpm drive recently decided to go belly-up. so, would be nice to have something to install an operating system on again.

I'd love a new SSD, I only have an old Samsung one, and it's starting to slow down... I'm pretty sure it's starting to die. :o

I'm pretty nearly everyone should have an SSD... They are so great for using as boot drives, they're super quick and so OSes and Programs are way better than when I had a HDD. Still, HDDs are useful because they have a ton more space, so they're great for games.

PC Specs

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X

Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING x570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) ATX AM4

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3600 CL18

Graphics: ASUS GTX 1080

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

PSU: Corsair RM750 (2019)

Displays: ASUS VS247 & ASUS VH169

At this point, everyone should have an SSD for their OS.  I'd swap my Mother's HDD for this, if she lets me.

I'm currently building my own PC, and am trying to afford it on a minium wage job. Getting this SSD would save me so much time and money. It would be so amazing to get a 240GB SSD to put into my machine instead of the 120GB i was going to put in to save money. Created an account just to enter :) thanks for reading guys.
