Apacer AS330 Panther Giveaway

Everyone should have a SSD, it makes even an older system so much quicker, I have a SSD on my crappy little Lenovo laptop and its the same as having a brand new laptop, its made it so quick.

I could use this to help build my mom's replacement computer... that she hasn't bought any replacement parts for... after 18 months of waiting...

Not long ago, in a galaxy relatively nearby...

I could really use an SSD, I only have HDD and have never used anything else, my HDD is 1TB and while it's nice, it's not really giving me any better performance over my old 250GB one. An SSD would be nice so I could finally start up windows without having to walk away to get coffee before it finishes.

Everyone should have at least an ssd as their boot drive by now. I know a couple people who can use a nice ssd upgrade to their aging systems.

I have an old HP Compaq Presario CQ61-420em, and it has a 320 gb hard drive. So yea, it would be nice to put something that can bring it back to life and upgrade my storage. I would put it in the spot where me dvd drive is being that I don't use it at all. Everyone should have an SSD now in their builds, they are getting cheaper and cheaper and have more storage on board + a great performance. Cheers from Serbia :)

I'm kitting out a little old shuttle pc for a friend of mine and its working fine at the moment with its only limitation being its 128gb SSD, winning this would be awesome so that my friend could hide more of his porn.

Since I build my computer several years ago my wife has been declared disabled and I had to quit working to become her caretaker, so I've been having trouble keeping it up to date. Right now I am running my main OS on a 320GB mechanical HD that was one part of a 2x320GB Raid 0 array, but the other drive was donated to my cousin when I built his computer. I also used to have a gaming drive that consisted of 3x64GB Raid 0 SSDs but one of those was donated to my dad's computer to speed up his games. Now, the SSDs that I have left will only be usable after random restarts, so I can't really use them reliably. A new SSD would work wonders for my system. Just in case anyone is wondering, the last update I was able to do with my PC was the MB and CPU. The MB is the Z87 chipset and I'm using a 4th gen Core I3, so I am not running a system that seems as old as the drives I listed above make it sound.

My current SSD is a Crucial MX100 128GB, it's running out of space and I feel my system could perform better with a faster SSD in it. That being said, most everyone could benefit from running at least one SSD for their OS, (more for extra storage if within budget), with the faster read and write speeds. An SSD can bring life back to an older system with slightly outdated hardware giving the owner more time to acquire the funds to get an updated system.

Because there's nothing quite so beautiful as fast boot times.

SSD's are simply better, boot time is everything for some people, and others just don't want to wait :D

Sitting with a regular hard drive as my main boot drive right now so SSD would probably be a massive read/write boost. That and I wouldn't mind being able test my programs faster when I'm programming.

I think i should win an ssd because i am about to start building a personal gaming rig of my own for the first time and will be having an ssd for my os and a 4 tb hdd for storage. i would like to have an additional ssd for important documents on a drive that would have less of a chance of failure to store the most important files or to have a second os to do a duel boot setup. an alternative would be for my most used games as i will be doing recording on this rig it would be nice to be able to start up my most common game faster than the rest. so winning an ssd would be more so just a really cool bonus to an already kick ass gaming rig.

I would upgrade my computer a bit. My system would probably boot faster with a new SSD.

Thanks for the chance! =)

I'm wanting to build myself a new computer  so getting one of these would be very welcome since  I would  be able to spend the cost of a ssd on other parts. ;) Also it looks cool (maybe not so important but it does)

I currently have no ssd at all, I believe all computer parts should be solid, moving parts should be avoidable!

Everyone should have an SSD in their PC because it increases their productivity drastically. No more waiting for the system to boot and the programs to start!
