Just FYI, an SSD does not increase your FPS, or graphical performance, it boosts the loading times and overall performance.

I believe everyone should have an SSD in their system as a minimum of using it as a boot drive. Doing so makes the boot up time and the operation of system tasks much faster and easier to live with.

Hey I am creating my own Gaming YouTube channel now, I have been updating 2 videos every day since like two weaks ago. I have been playing not very demanding games so far so I am doing okay besaids having to wait about an hour to render a 20 min. video... But the problems came when I tryed to film a gameplay of a more demanding game with in my not-so-good laptop. It is realy bad... but is the only thing that I have now.

 

I realy want this thing to succeed so I'm aiming to build a PC ad hoc to my needs... Since this things are not so cheap, I'm buying like a part every 15 days, so this may take a while, but I can't expend a lot of money all at once. 

That is how I got to the LinusTechTips videos in YouTube in the first place, looking for tutorials on this matter. But I liked the content so much that I have watched every episode since.

 

Well I want the SSD because is in my plans to have one anyways (thanks to what I've learned with Linus), but winning one would help me build my computer faster and without emptying my wallet so much.

I would use this SSD as my boot SSD with most of the system applications and have my 500gb SSD as my drive to load my most commonly played games/other programs. Im trying to reformat my HDD now so that it is more organized and this would help! SSDs are a need!

There is no reason why anyone shouldn't have an SSD. Even if you can only afford a 64GB boot SSD (as long as this isn't a laptop with only room for 1 drive), that SSD will vastly improve your performance. Once you go SSD, you never go back. I only have a 120GB SSD and would love to increase it as it's almost out of room. I have a old 120 HDD in my laptop and a 240 SSD would be an amazing upgrade. Probably be a lot faster because of upgrading from the hdd to the ssd. And thanks for doing the giveaway!

Your whole computer will seem faster, only bad thing about it is that you will get super annoyed when you're helping someone who has a PC that uses a mechanical HDD to boot.

I would like an SSD because my main computer doesn't have one. I was planning to buy a 1TB SSD, but because I'm in college (BUY ALL THE BOOKS!), that plan is now out the window.
