I would like to have an SSD to upgrade an older 2012 MacBook Pro. I already have an ssd in the computer I built and I find that an ssd provides the most noticeable improvement in overall performance of a new computer and can breath new life into an aging one.

my current ssd is 120gb and it is full and I have no games on it!, I am considering a new ssd right now, so winning this would save me alot of money!

A new SSD would be great as I wouldn't have to rely on my HDD for long term storage. Then I would run my PC on SSDs only.

I think everyone should have an ssd because they drastically increase the speed of most computers plus they are getting cheaper and cheaper every time there is an improvement in the technology.

I've never bought an SSD before but I've been told on many occasions it is very much worth it.

I think everyone should have on in there system because the amazing speed. I have two identical imacs, one is SSD, one is HDD. The SSD one runs laps around the HDD one, especially when it comes to boot times.

I think that everyone who use a computer should have a SSD. Why? There's many reasons... Here's a few :

  • The boot and resume time are really faster compared to a hard drive.
  • Your operating system feels snappier and the the load time of your applications is almost instantaneous.
  • SSDs are much more resistant to shocks or abuse and are perfect for a nomad use in a laptop or as an external drive.

I bought my 60 GB SSD in 2011 (five years ago).

Since 2 months I want to change my main operating system from windows 7 to a linux distribution. But I have some important programms/games which only run on windows and I dont want them to run in a virtual machine (performance). Thats why I have to setup a dual boot on my SSD. Unfortunately my SSD is five years old and has only 60 GB of storage. The read and write speed is very slow because it was a  new technology as I bought it. I cant afford a new SSD right now because I upgraded my private server last year. This are the reasons why I need a new SSD with more storage.

Today everyone should use a SSD in his/her system because we get used to a short boot time and great performance. Better hardware makes it possible to develop and use more powerfull programms/applications. A SSD is a must have in 2016

I'm a programming major in college and I am struggling to keep up with storage in my computer. I currently have an almost full 1TB hard drive filled with programs and documents. SSDs are amazing since they allow me to store my important information in a reliable place. I am currently looking to upgrade my prebuilt computer that I got in 2010 to meet the demands of today's market. I was looking at SSDs to put into my system but I can't afford one right now. If I won I would be excited since I can get that fast storage and also boot off of the SSD to ensure that my computer is running as efficiently as possible. Thank you so much for doing this giveaway!

My laptop has a 5400RPM hard drive and it's really bad considering everything else it has. It makes even opening a folder that has a lot of stuff in it a painful task. An SSD would be amazing...
