Apacer AS330 Panther Giveaway

I believe everyone should have an SSD in their rig for a couple of reasons. If you are looking for faster boot times, you need an SSD. If you are looking for faster file management, you need an SSD. If you are looking to spend lees time waiting in loading screens for applications, you need an SSD. If any of these apply to you and you are looking for a fast, good quality SSD, then you need an APACER SSD!

People need SSDs in their storage as it won't take them 3.5 years for the computer to boot up so you browse porn :P

We're partnering up with Apacer to give away 5 of their AS330 Panther 240G SSDs! These 2.5" drives feature up to 545MB/sec reads, up to 520MB/sec writes, and ECC engine correcting up to 72bit/1KB.

So how can you win one of these sweet SSDs?

1. Post a comment below about why you want a new SSD or why you think everyone should have an SSD in their system. (1 comment/entry per person).

3. Check back on the forum to see if you've won! All winners will be PMed here on the forum, so make sure you have email notifications for PMs turned on. Winners will have 3 days to respond.

This is a worldwide giveaway with no age restrictions, so everyone is welcome to take part!

Best of luck :D

I would really like to win the ssd and I would use it primarily as a boot drive with storage of a couple frequently used programs. I believe that every computer should have an ssd in them because of the speed the ssd brings to the table rather than hard drives.

My workmate/boss man has a slow as butts magnetic storage solution and I'd like to bring him into the world of non volatile flash storage. It'll make his week if I could give him one of these.

Hi everyone!

I'd love to get one of these 240GB Solid State Drives, because currently I'm running my computer with a 60GB SSD and the free disk space is rapidly going down because of Windows Updates and such stuff.

Thank you for creating great videos and keep up the good work!

Best regards from Germany,

Maurice

The reason why I want this SSD is because currently I have a 500GB Seagate Barracuda I pulled from a Hp pro that was given to me for a part computer. But the other reason is I have been wanting to get an ssd for sometime but I just haven't gotten the extra money to do so. Ssd's are Muuuuch faster than hard drives and can take more of a beating so that is why I think everyone should have one. It would be freaking awesome if I Would win so my fingers are crossed.

I think this picture answers it all, this is my 60GB Corsair Force SSD, all that is on it is Windows 10 and maybe some random temp files and a few programs, most of my programs i keep on another mass storage HDD though as i can't afford to put stuff in my small SSD.

I've need a boot drive since I built my PC back in 2010 when I was a freshman in high school, but due to other expenses (cough cough college) I haven't been able to grace my system with this glory. Let the PC master race find me worthy of such a prize!

I have a Crucial M500 120GB SSD as my system drive which is okay but the 120GB version isn't exactly breaking speed records and also it's at 87% of it's lifetime already. Also having a 240GB SSD for some games with longer loading times would be absolutely fantastic.

CPU: AMD R5 5600x | Mainboard: MSI MAG B550m Mortar Wifi | RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3200 Rev E | GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Armor | Case: Xigmatek Aquila | PSU: Corsair RM650i | SSDs: Crucial BX300 120GB | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB | Crucial m500 120GB | HDDs: 2x Seagate Barracuda 4TB | CPU Cooler: Scythe Fuma 2 | Casefans: Bitfenix Spectre LED red 200mm (Intake), Bequiet Pure Wings 2 140mm (Exhaust) | OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit

I'd use a new SSD to help build a beast gaming rig for my wife, she could desperately use fast storage since that's one of the things bothering her the most right now.

My laptop (Asus Q551L) is massively hindered by a slow hard drive.  It makes starting programs unbearable, even when running Ubuntu!  I recently upgraded my desktop to an SSD boot drive, and now I am a firm believer in the power of a new, solid state drive.  I believe most PC speed issues can be remedied with a better hard drive.

As technology moves on so must we. How can one proclaim to be the master race without the fastest tech? It is simply a necessity.

"The wheel?" "No thanks, I'll walk, its more natural" - thus was the beginning of the doom of the Human race.
Cheese monger.

I want an SSD because I am really curious as to whether or not an SSD would make my Friggin' Windows 10 boot any faster!

I have a 120GB SSD in my MBP. Please guys, don't kill me for being a fan of LTT and a Mac user. Calm down and hear me out. Haha I have an early 2011 13" model and it came with a 5400rpm 500GB HDD.

It got slow, upgrading to a 120GB SSD was one of the best decisions I've made. SSDs bring new life to old hardware and excels in performance!

Why I want to win this giveaway? 120GB isn't a lot. Especially by today's standard. If I win, I can remove my superdrive, and have a 240GB boost in storage!

I'd LOVE a new SSD for my system! My current one is only 240GB and only has 3 games on it and my OS, so running these in a RAID config would be great!
