What should I do?

Should I buy this? or should I upgrade my ATIV book 4 with an SSD ,8gb of ram(which I have done), and a battery bank?

I'd just get something newer. Once you factor all that in, you might as well capitalize on the newer CPU as well.

Plus, it'd be nice to at least go 1080p..

I'd think there'd be better options than that though.

i agree i remember on toms hardware this one guy recommended me to upgrade just toaster laptop (HP elitebook 2530p) to just add 8gb of ram and and a new SSD instead of buying a new laptop (MSI GE62 Apache 276) ever since i bought my new laptop ive never looked back. much faster than that shitty little laptop and plays games on ultra and maxed out settings most of the time. plus the CPU is one thing you cant upgrade on a laptop. i remember my old laptop idling in the windows home screen at 72 degrees Celsius and the drive would keep losing data because it sat right next to the toasty CPU. my new laptop despite it having beefy hardware runs much cooler and quieter than my old one

wait what games are you playing since you can play them at max on a laptop?

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M
