I would recommend a trusted seller of iPhone parts like iFixit but just note that the home button cannot be changed. If you do it will render touch ID unusable unless it is done by Apple themselves.

Ask Louis Rossman for a free estimate. Google him.

It will function as the physical button but without touch ID.

The phone may be bricked if you don't repair the touch id by going to the apple store.

There's something called about the error 53

If it is on ios 8 will it be fine? and it is a 5s, do you think that will change anything?

Apple doesn't repair Water damage though. Error 53 is only common on iPhone 6es.

The best thing to do would be to send the phone to someone like iPad Rehab. With an ultrasonic cleaner, most water damaged phones can be repaired.

What water was it?

Water corrosion happens over time, the digitizer is probably not working because water is on the logic board somewhere or in the LCD.

I've come across a lot of people who thought there was only one issue, replaced it and found that their device died out of nowhere months later.
