PC parts upgrade

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

My system is now 2 years old. I have an A8 5600k APU, A55m-DS2 motherboard, 1x8gb 1600mhz RAM,a GT 630(1 gb DDR5), and an old LCD Monitor. Is it worth it to upgrade to a Skylake build with a R9 380, a new monitor and a case (Phanteks P400)? I will do my upgrade at the end of the year. I have a $500 budget.
