GTA V Issues

I got GTA V in November 2015 and it was running fine on my EVGA GTX 970. One day I got on and I was getting like 3fps. I have run a few benchmarks and it shows that I am getting like 35fps. My game is optimized and all my drivers are up to date. I have reinstalled GTA and still no improvement. I have no integrated graphics so that isn't the issue. My computer specs are: AMD FX- 350 8-core 4.0GHz, 1 Stick of Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1866 and 1 Stick of Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, 750W Corsair FX 750 PSU. Any Suggestions?

Wait what PSU? also what update for GTA V?

Re-install drivers.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
