Hi everyone, I found some HDD in old computer, I used some to create a NAS for home storage. But there's one that when i connect to pc in the bios is written Failure detect or something that means a problem, maybe this HDD is broken? or is possible to recover this? Thanks.

Can you give us some more specific information about the hard drive? Specs, how long you've had it, etc...

If the drive shows up in Windows you can use Crystal Disk Info to look at the S.M.A.R.T. values on the hard drive and better determine exactly what is wrong with it. Some motherboards also have a S.M.A.R.T. utility built into their BIOS/UEFI.
