Lack of depth camouflaged by spastic high-speed storytelling and contrived back-and-forth time skipping. The lowest form of fan service camouflaged as avant-garde. Easily digestable but just about 'edgy' enough art style to be 110% populistic. This kind of anime is everything wrong with the industry. It makes me physically ill, it's like an anime that was designed to please 4chan and set a trap for unintelligent elitists to circlejerk a shallow show that they've been fooled to think is deep.

if you legitimately dislike it for those reasons and find them to be significant enough, then I'd say that NNB would be your choice by exclusion on the basis of lack of content?

Well, I just told you on page one: Non Non Biyori is all about pastoral landscapes and cute elementary school girls, and that's what the people here are by far the most interested in.

To be fair, I'm sure it's perfectly fine if all you want is an inferior and less interesting Aria which compensates with lots of moe and a few memes. Or at least that's all I got from its first four or so episodes.
