Delta Printer printing dimensions wrong

samocamo123

If I make my delta printer print a cube 10 mm tall, 10 mm wide, and 10 mm long, it will print a cube 11 mm tall, 9 mm wide, and 9 mm long. Help?

Check your belts and make sure they're tight, if that doesn't work, check your steps per MM. I have no clue how to calibrate a delta style machine, but try poking around the RepRap forums for guides.

the 9mm is likely caused by the shrinkage of whatever material you are using. Its always a good idea to take thermal expansion into account when making a model to 3d print. This is especially true when dealing with abs. The extra 1mm of height could easily be from over extrusion.
