Ability to hide/acknowledge announcements

We're looking into a few options at this stage.

I would really like the ability to hide or acknowledge announcements. I don't need to know that Microsoft email domains are blocking the registration email. It was useful info the first time I read it, and now it takes up a lot of space on mobile screens.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

It would be cool if there was a 3rd theme option without the announcement box. :D

Thanks but I would never install or change anything on my browser to alter a website. It might break something down the line.

Something like that would make whole Announcement system useless. Ability to mark them read per account would be just enough.

That's true but it's something easy to implement and as long as it's an "opt-out" option nobody can complain.
