I use 3 goalzero usb LED lights to illuminate my room at night. I might get more since they give off a nice amount of light for just 1 watt.

@Kiol Thats why I put LEDs under mine and my SO's beds. When she wakes in the night she can turn the lights under the bed on and not wake me or vice versa.

Thats a cool idea. did you wire them into the power of the fridge itself or rig your own power line?

I replaced the normal lamp power supply (240v) to my own custom 240v to 12v power supply that slots into the fridge

I have a raspberry pi that controls rgb LEDs to show CPU usage, ram usage, CPU temps, etc. Never have it on but it was fun to make.

I put white LED's underneath my cabin bed so I could have light shine on my desk. This was only for a month or so until I bought a new desk lamp.

lol no one has the patience for that lol. I buy them in rolls. Each roll has 300 "pads" each pad has 3 LEDs, That's 900 LEDs per roll. I used 4 rolls under my car.   Piles of LED Rolls

I have some IKEA led strips on the back of my TV and under the kitchen cabinets.

Also, every light in the house is LED, if that counts.

My desk is a mess right now but it's just a single strip on the shelf above to give some extra light on the work surface below. As for the LED work light it's a battery powered on you get in tool kits and I changed out the old 18V incandescent bulb with a 5W LED and a LED driver:

Spoiler

The LED driver is hidden behind the heatsink, and the screws have small plastic washer to isolate them from the PCB contacts.
