CS:GO players - What's your "true" sensitivity? (pro player setup spreadsheet for references)

2 Sens 450 DPI, so 900 edpi.

There was a poll that came out not to long ago that showed that higher ranked players also on average have lower sens. Just something to consider if you play with a high sense, plan on taking the game more seriously and are still struggling in the mid to low ranks.

Hey! A little bit of backstory first, so because I can't buy a true fps mouse, I'm using the Logitech M510 which has a 1000 DPI laser sensor, not optimal, but I've actually gotten used to it. I'm also playing on a macbook because my dad's a diehard Apple fan.... not optimal at all. I use this program called SmoothMouse (find it here at: http://smoothmouse.com) to simulate windows 6/11 mouse sensitivity with mouse acceleration turned off.

My in game sensitivity is 1.725 which is an eDPI of 1,725. I'm mostly an awper and for that my mouse sensitivity ratio is 0.7. 0.7* 1725 = an eDPI of 1207.5 when awping.

This sensitivity is for some reason extremely slow, i need like 3 swipes on my mousepad to make a 180 turn but I can aim relatively well and precisely with an AK at my current rank of MGE

I have 1800 DPI, 1.8 in-game sensitivty, 6/11 windows sensitivity.

 

So that means my eDPI is 3240, and I would never go any less.

I use my wrist to aim, like all players do no matter how little you want to admit it, put putting too much movement on the arm would make it too slow to turn 180 degree.

 

I can do a 90° turn to check corners only using my wrist, 180 I would be using some of my arm too.

 

Just because the numbers may indicate that 3240 is a big number, it really isn't. It's perfect.

I've used 1.9 most my life, but 1.9 requires consistently playing every day, so I turned it down to 1.8 and my aim is more consistent if I don't play for some time, but I would never put it any further down, just going from 1.9 to 1.8 was a big gap and I check corners slower, but now I don't notice it anymore, but I did.

 

I'm solo Global Elite, but GE's suck anyway.

I use a HP mouse with PS/2 plug I found in the dumpster, and I still kick ass while chewing bubblegum in CS:GO!

do you also need to take into account resolution? if i understand dpi correctly, its the number of pixels moved per inch. the thing is, pro players also play at much lower resolutions, so that same dpi at 1080p is a lot slower.

1250dpi in mouse software and 1.0 ingame, im Nova 3 now but i was MG2 before the summer then i didnt play for the entire summer and now i need to rank up again

MM stand for Matchmaking or what is called competitive mode in game. So go to watch then choose your game then link me one  anyone of them.
