Is it safe to upgrade to windows 10 ?

Are there still any huge bugs in windows 10 ? Like the one with flashing screen ?

I upgraded first thing and haven't experienced any. You can always go back to 8 or 7, or just reinstall to fix most issues

Windows 10 is almost nothing like what Windows 7 was like. It's totally worth the upgrade imo

I haven't had a BSOD in quite a while (usually a driver problem). At this point it's probably just the drivers that may cause an issue. So as long as the driver support is good, I'd go for it.

Upgraded at work a few months ago, no trouble at all. Only just made the jump this evening on my home rig. *wooo new SSD*

Never had any issues with windows 10 since day 1. Some of my friends claim its awful but they are hardcore Nvidia fanboys(yes you Jake, I know your on the forums) who dont accept reason and hate microsoft.

 

Also like 4-5 other people I know upgraded without any issues like me.

Depends, if your PC is old (more so laptops) you may still run into major issues, otherwise most people seem to be fine, the only issue that still pops up is the mem leak issue but I don't know how common it is just that I've had to revert on a relative's computer to avoid it.

Do NOT upgrade directly if your machine has a lot of programs/files. You will encounter issues, so do a fresh install. This does depend on age, drivers, files, ect.

I had a fresh instal of windows 7  2 days ago but i didn't delete all my files stored on hard drive

What the hell does Nvidia have to do with windows 10? They aren't directly related in the manner you just described.

I have a desktop pc and it is 3 years old but i havent had any isues

upgrading is pretty easy. just read whatever it's telling you

i think you can ask windows to dump all of your programs in a xml file so you can look them up later

I upgraded my laptop just when Insider version was released and I haven't encountered any problems since then.

my point was the only people i have ever known to complain about windows 10 are very biased people who have a grudge against windows.

There isn't any huge bug in Windows 10, the flashing screen may be caused by the gpu

I had nothing but problems and still hear people having problems. I wouldn't also downgrading wipes everything
