Hi! how are you? Welcome to my review of the DragonWar Chaos G7; a mouse i have had since time immeasurable and only costs <$17! Let's get started!

OVERVIEW

The mouse has 7 clickable buttons in total (2 clicks, 2 DPI buttons, 2 Macro buttons and one Scroll click button). The mouse is RGB, it has 7 colors in it which can be controlled by the included software()though it doesn't work well. By default, the lights are set for breathing effect and change color every 5 seconds.

On the top, it has a huge chaos logo with a snowflake like star behind it and a dragon going up to the top.

It also has braided cable and a nice connector (usb based). It is designed exclusively for right handed use (which is disappointing).  The DPI settings are 800,1600,2400,3200.

USAGE EXPERIENCE AND VIEWS

When it comes to usage, it makes my life easier. The grip is very comforting and is also favorable for right handed people. It also makes browsing easier as it has 2 Macro keys which act as a "back" and a "Forward" button in the browser.

Whilst gaming, I almost never use the extra 2 buttons on the right. The lighting is a bit cheesy and the clicks are not very satisfying. But it does not feel cheap to hold and use considering its price tag of less than $17.

VERDICT

It's my first "GAMING GRADE" mouse. And I like it! The shape fits like a glove, it is evenly weighted and is hefty enough that it fits in my big hands! so if you have big hands, YAY to this mouse. But would i  recommend it? If you had only $20 for a mouse, yes!

RATING: 3.9/5

PRICE: ~$17

My only problem with this mouse is the tacky design... same with some of DragonWar's newer peripherals...

now don't get me wrong here, I own one of their keyboards and one of their mice, both of which I am currently enjoying...

price-performance wise they're very good products, but it's the design that may lead people away from them...
