6870 or 2 gtx 660s sli

Should i get a 6870 for $40 or 2 gtx 660s for $145 on craigslist. Im many looking to play csgo and source.

I'd get the 660's then sell one of them.

A single 660 is significantly more powerful than a 6870 and it's newer so you'll get better support, the 6000 series have now gone into legacy support.

The 660 SLI will kick its ass in terms of performance, although for $40, the 6870 might be better value. 

I'd still recommend the 660 SLI- even a single GTX 660 will handily beat an HD 6870 in terms of performance. However, you might find yourself limited by 2GB of VRAM (SLI doesn't double VRAM when two cards are used).
