Cryorig A80 AIO any good?

Go to solution Solved by shibbs,

http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/cryorig-a40-and-a80-series-hybrid-liquid-cooler.html

It's definitely an Asetek, so it'll be the exact same radiator and block as the H110, and Kraken X61 which are both Asetek, too.

I'd say go for it.

It looks fabulous, I am wondering why I do not hear about it.

Is it a better choice than the H100i GTX or the Kraken X61?

I think it would do fine, probably performs real close to other AiO coolers.   Cryorig make good stuff, had no idea they made All in Ones though.

Why?

cause its well known... Cryorig isn't really a well known AIO maker. So i'd rather get a trusted brand.

It appears to be a hybrid. It has a fan ON the water block

i like it has a smaller fan to keep your VRM's cooler (a known cause of dead mobo's using liquid cooling)...very thoughtful... I'll look into this cooler a bit more now.

Well Cryorig is good for their Air coolers. Not so much for their AIO. :P

They also only have 1 or 2 AIO coolers, while Corsair has upwards of 15.

Just because something isnt well known doesnt mean it is bad.

I do not suppose you can use an Imgur mirror? I am currently on a school network that will not load that image

Looks to be quality to me. Seems to use an Asetek pump.

I'd rock it.

I'll look for one. These are actually original models with stock fans as well let me look for more relevant reference material.

I could not find the images I was looking for but look at the benchmarks here at tweaktown.

Thanks, but I was looking for the specs on the A80, not the H110i GTX
